The Jolly Beggars Banquet is now an annual tradition of the Medicine Hat Burns Club. As a club event, the dinner is held separate from the annual Burns Dinner.
As Robert Burns died at the tender age of 37, the club members and a select few others numbering no more than 37, attend a formal, men only dinner. This dinner is made for a true Burns fan. There is no rank or hierarchy as Burns felt all men were equals.
The Jolly Beggars Banquet is an invitation only event for active club members and special guests. Please contact one of the club officers for more information.
